Mamluk Konya Rug #83


It was originally woven for the Mamluk and Ottoman courts around 13th-15th c in Cairo and Konya.  This is a reproduction of such rug with the royal color of purple/levender of the Romans in the antiquities.

It is all wool on wool, vegetable dyes, hand spun wool and Turkish double knots.  8'6" x 8'6"
